Privacy Policy

Moodots ("we", "us", "the app") is a personal mood journal app. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data is collected, how it is used, and your rights.

1. Data Storage

All your journal entries, mood data, and app settings are stored locally on your device. We do not operate any servers that store your personal data. Your entries never leave your device unless you explicitly export them.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your name, email, or any personal identifiers
• We do not track your location
• We do not read, access, or transmit your journal entries
• We do not use analytics or tracking SDKs
• We do not share any data with third parties for advertising

3. In-App Purchases

Moodots offers optional Premium subscriptions and a one-time purchase via Apple's App Store. Purchases are processed by Apple and managed through RevenueCat, our subscription management provider.

RevenueCat receives:

• An anonymous app user ID (not linked to your identity)
• Purchase and subscription status information from Apple

RevenueCat does not have access to your journal entries or any personal content. For more information, see RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

4. iCloud Backup

If you have iCloud Backup enabled on your iPhone, your Moodots data may be included in your device backup. This is managed entirely by Apple and your device settings. We do not control or access your iCloud backups.

5. Data Export

You can export your data as a CSV file at any time via the Settings screen. The exported file is saved locally and shared only through methods you choose (e.g., AirDrop, email). We never see or access this file.

6. Notifications

If you enable daily reminders, notifications are scheduled locally on your device using iOS notification services. No data is sent to any server for this feature.

7. Children's Privacy

Moodots is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control:

• Access: All your data is visible within the app
• Export: Use the export feature in Settings
• Delete: Delete individual entries in the app, or delete the app to remove all data

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
